Primal Hive FAQ | Shipping, Collective & Florida Beekeeping

About Primal Hive at 4K Bowen

Are you an authorized Primal Hive / Primal Bee dealer?
Yes. We're connected to Primal Bee on Shopify Collective and sell Primal Hive products through 4kbowen.com. See our Primal Hive hub and shop collection.

Who is 4K Bowen?
We're a disabled-veteran, family-owned company (50/50 Dana & Amanda Bowen). Dana is an Army veteran. We run a licensed game bird farm, apiary, and mushroom farm in Mayo, Florida.

Is Primal Hive the only hive brand you sell?
Yes. If we carry Primal Hive, it is the only hive system brand on this store. Protective gear and tools may come from other makers we trust (for example Sting Stopper suits on our beekeeping supplies page).

What is Primal Hive?

What makes Primal Hive different from a standard Langstroth?
A classic Langstroth is a modular wooden box system many beekeepers know. Primal Hive is positioned as a modern insulated hive system focused on thermal / climate stability — helping colonies cope with heat and weather swings with fewer stressful inspections when conditions are stable. Exact models and specs are on each product page. We chose it for our Florida apiary because summer heat is a real management pressure here.

Is this medical or veterinary advice?
No. Hive choice depends on your climate, management style, and local regulations. Ask your local association or inspector when you're unsure. We share what works on our farm; we don't diagnose colony disease.

Orders, shipping & returns

How do shipping and fulfillment work?
Primal Hive items sell on 4kbowen.com and are fulfilled by the supplier through Shopify Collective. Shipping cost shows at checkout. You'll get supplier tracking when the order ships.

Do you offer free shipping on hives?
No store-wide free shipping. Free shipping over $40 applies to egg orders only. Hive gear shipping is calculated at checkout.

What is your return policy for Primal Hive products?
Returns follow the supplier / Collective policy for those SKUs. We'll list the exact window and conditions here once confirmed with Primal Bee — until then, email 4kbowen@gmail.com or call 907-590-8085 before opening a return.

Discounts

Is there a YouTube / community discount?
Yes. Shop Primal Hive on 4kbowen.com and use code PRIMAL5 for 5% off (Primal Hive collection). Example: Starter Kit with PRIMAL5 applied.

Does the military / veteran discount apply to Primal Hive?
Yes — 10% off for verified veterans (same process as our other supplier lines that use a 10% military rate). Email proof of service to 4kbowen@gmail.com and we'll send your code. Details: Military & Veteran Discount. The military 10% does not stack with PRIMAL5 or other deal codes — one discount per order.
