Hatch Rate Guarantee
Optional Hatch Rate Assurance
We offer an optional Hatch Rate Assurance for customers who would like added peace of mind when purchasing fertile hatching eggs from our farm. This assurance is not required and must be added to your order at checkout to be valid.
When purchased, Hatch Rate Assurance guarantees a minimum 50% hatch rate of viable eggs, calculated from the total number of eggs shipped.
What the Hatch Rate Assurance Covers
- A 50% hatch rate of viable eggs
- Coverage applies only to eggs shipped from our farm
- Applies to the original order only
- Coverage is provided in the form of store credit or replacement eggs
What Is Not Covered
Hatch Rate Assurance does not cover losses caused by:
- Shipping delays, carrier handling, or weather-related transit issues
- Incubator malfunction or calibration errors
- Improper temperature or humidity levels
- Power outages or equipment failure
- Improper egg handling, storage, or turning after delivery
- Cracked, damaged, or visibly compromised eggs
- Chicks after hatch (live arrival or survival is not guaranteed)
Proof Required for a Claim
To submit a Hatch Rate Assurance claim, all of the following must be provided:
- Clear photos of:All hatched chicksAll unhatched eggs after the hatch window (opened to show development)
- Incubator details:Brand and modelTemperature and humidity range used during incubation
- Claims must be submitted within 72 hours of hatch completion
Incomplete submissions may result in denial of the claim.
How Hatch Rate Is Calculated
- Hatch rate is based on viable eggs only
- Clear (non-developing) eggs may be excluded from the calculation
- The guarantee applies if the hatch rate falls below 50%
- Coverage applies only to the difference between actual hatch and the guaranteed rate
Resolution of Approved Claims
If a claim is approved:
- Store credit or replacement eggs will be issued for the number of eggs below the guaranteed hatch rate
- No cash refunds are offered
- Store credit is valid for 12 months from the date issued
- Replacement eggs ship under standard shipping terms
Important Notes
- Hatch Rate Assurance must be purchased at the time of checkout
- It cannot be added after an order is placed
- Orders without Hatch Rate Assurance are not covered
- Each order is evaluated individually
- Abuse of this policy may result in denial of future coverage
